A Jury has Spoken
WEST PALM BEACH — When attorney Craig Lawson got up Sunday morning, he had one of the most difficult tasks of his legal career.
He had to explain to his 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son how a Seminole County jury could have decided that George Zimmerman was not guilty of the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was walking from a convenience store with a bag of Skittles and a can of tea.
